The Magic of Light |
| BY IMRE VALLYON. EXCERPT FROM THE MAGICAL MIND |
All forms exist as ideas in the Mind of God. The Universal Mind permeates them all.
Your body is constantly changing. Each particle of it is a life. Your body attracts to itself vibrations similar to its own. Mind permeates the body. Your body is a projection of your mind into matter. A change in mind produces a change in the vibrations of the body. A change in the body changes your mind.
By your thoughts, you set up vibrations that continually influence all of your bodies, as well as your environment. Your thoughts create your own music in life: Harmony and peace, or chaos and dissonance. Your body just follows your thinking.
There are an infinite number of vibrations pulsating around us, from physical Nature and from within Nature, that we cannot perceive or register because of the limitations of our physical bodies. Thus, what we perceive by our physical senses is but a minute fragment of the real physical plane, the universe around us.
At this point in Evolution, the physical bodies are still very limited in perception and abilities, and the true mind and consciousness of Man is hindered by them. Even the greatest mind is limited by the body in which it lives on this level of Nature.
Much of the frustration people experience since birth results from the limitations of the bodily environment, and from their mind's abilities constantly being frustrated by their body's inability to respond, or to live up to the mind's ideals or wants. The mind on its own Plane is Limitless. The mind on its own Plane knows no such limitations. But, when imbedded in the physical body, the mind experiences frustration.
The thoughts that you have while awake in the body will come to you as dreams while you are out of your body, during the phenomenon called "sleep," for dreams are very often but a viewing of your own thoughts. Hence, the emphasis should not be on interpreting your dreams, but on the changing of your thoughts in daily life.
Ordinarily, people are limited to their bodies and environment, but Mind has great powers to change even this. Energy follows thought. This is the Magic of Light. Change your thoughts. The way you think and feel will determine the Energy that you attract to yourself.
Energy is active Matter; Light is subtle Matter.
Upon a Beam of Light from the Self, the Energy of the Mind materializes all things. Thus, you may change or improve all things by a Beam of Light. This is what you feel raying-out from yourself at important moments.
Group-Mind is very powerful. The interplay of many minds on one idea produces a unity of thought powerful enough to change all conditions and all circumstances.
Mind on its own Plane is very powerful. If it is sufficiently concentrated, it can even move physical matter.
Beyond the realm we call "mind" (the Mental Plane), there is the realm of Spirit, or God-Omnipresent, Omnipotent, and Omniscient. In reality, the mind-realm, Spirit, and matter are the one thing. This is why miracles are possible.
Telepathy is the perception of radiations cast off from minds. The highest Telepathy, however, is the perception of the Radiation of Spirit, the Absolute Unity of the Divine Mind.
In the time and space condition we call "human life," we always get what we want (the way we feel and think). Everything you experience is simply the result of your feelings and thoughts. Knowing this, you are the Master of your Destiny.
All forms exist as ideas in the Mind of God. All forms are capable of change. All forms are constantly changing. This is the Law of Form.
The Divine Mind Itself is Changeless. It transcends all forms. It is not subject to the Law of Form. Forms are appearances or phenomena. Forms, or phenomena, have a deceptive reality in them. You are deceived by what you see. Behind and within all forms is the Life-Force that moves the forms. Behind or within Life is the Universal Mind Itself.
The Changeless Reality does not depend on form. It is a Formless Reality. All things pass away, but the Formless Reality ever remains the same. |
